The 2026 edition of the European Student Orchestra Festival takes us to Coimbra in Portugal and will be hosted by the Orquestra Académica da Universidade de Coimbra!

Price

€ 200 per participant.

A deposit of 10 persons will be due upon registration.

Includes:

  • Trhee nights in youth hostel/hotel (room distribution according to availability)

  • Full board

  • Access to all ESOF concerts

  • Access to all group planned activities

  • Use of rehearsal room and concert hall (for dress rehearsal and concert)

Does not include:

  • Transportation to and from Coimbra

Cancellation:

In case of cancellation by the Participant, ESOF reserves the right to reimburse the amounts paid only if it does not jeopardise its own financial interests as the result of commitments towards third parties. In any event, ESOF shall not reimburse any amounts in case the Participant cancels less than 90 calendar days before the start date of the Event.

Concert requirements and logistics:

  • Max 45 minutes of music

  • No solo concerto

  • ESOF will provide a basic set of large percussion instruments

  • ESOF will provide music stands and chairs

  • Double basses will be available for rent

 

Rehearsal:

  • One rehearsal and a dress rehearsal in the concert hall will be foreseen

  • ESOF will provide a basic set of large percussion instruments

  • ESOF will provide music stands and chairs

  • Double basses will be available for rent
